What is CharlotTEEN?

Throughout the year CharlotTEEN offers a variety of service projects and special events exclusively for teens! Our volunteers learn about relevant community issues, and participate in service projects which address relevant community issues. In order to accomodate the busy lives of most students, our service opportunities are accessible and flexible.

Volunteer with us!

In order to participate in CharlotTEEN service projects, students do NOT need to attend an orientation, and they do NOT need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. CharlotTEEN projects are only available for High School students. Volunteers that are not in high school can volunteer with a parent at some of our regular month projects. We also plan to add more family friendly projects to our scheudle. The steps to volunteering are as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5!

Easy Steps to Follow!

1. Register with Hands On Charlotte!

2. Sign in to your account.

3. Search through our upcoming projects and find one that interests you (find more information on the project calendar). You will instantly receive an email confirmation for projects that you sign up for, and a few days prior to the day of the project you will receive an email with directions and instructions.

4. Bring a signed Youth Volunteer Waiver Form with you to your first event (also available on the project description page). If you have a community service confirmation form that needs to be signed for school requirements or club participation, please bring it with you as well.

5. Have fun serving your community and meeting new friends!
